Etsy Round-up – Retro Modern Pet Beds

I love my cats. LOVE them.  Hubs often gets irritated with how I baby the furry little buggers.  I even have little pet beds in our super-stylish living room. And putting pet beds into a decorated space is always hard, especially if your space is from another era. I found the best looking beds I could, little squares lined with fleece, and they are pretty easy on the eyes.

Look at this gorgeous creature! And I don’t just mean the cat.

These super-yummy Eames inspired pet beds can be found at likekittysville, where you can order the custom pet bed of your choice.  This version with a wooden base is $69, a bed with an acrylic base is $82, and they have a wide selection of fabrics to choose from. Check out the amazing Flickr stream to see the great colors, fabrics and cats enjoying these amazing beds. And dogs too!

They also have a blog, located here, where it showcases the great beds and great cats who sleep in the beds.

Amazing and adorable!  retro-modern-pet-bed

OMG, that is too cool! But I know perfectly well the cats will ignore anything designated as a cat bed in favor of MY bed. Or the back seat of my convertible in the garage if I leave the top down. After all, it does have black upholstery, the better to show off their light fur.
