Another Great Mid-Century House for Sale – In My Neighborhood!

Hello, everyone!  One of the houses down the street has just gone up for sale.  I think it is really nice, so I thought I would post it up for everyone to see.

This house is a three bedroom, two bath and they are asking $150,000.  A steal, if you ask me. outside-of-holyroodHere is the gorgeous brick exterior.  The people who are selling the house are really friendly, and they are always out taking care of the yard when Hubs and I run past.

Cute, huh?  I love the huge picture window.  That seems to be a pretty standard feature in this neighborhood, almost every single house has one.

Pink wall alert! Wow.  I am all for the pink, but that is REALLY pink.  I wonder if the wall actually is that color, or if it is just the flash from the camera. I love the fireplace though, so nice.  And the built-in next to it is sweet!

These look like the original cabinets to me!  Maybe not the original finish, but still nice.

Goldmine.  The original bathroom.  I love that floor, don’t you???  I have become fascinated by tile patterns. Wow.

So, there it is, another house for sale in my neighborhood.  And I think someone else down the street maybe posting another sign any day now, so stay tuned!

LOL, like Sara would say, I’m swooning!

Yes, those kitchen cabinets do look like the original ones and the floor does, too.

Is the bathroom gray and burgundy tiles? Love it!

One has to admit that Michigan has some beautiful MCM homes!

Yes, Sable you are swooning! 🙂 Me too though! I am so totally jealous of all the cool, retro houses there in Michigan. And the prices, they are AWESOME! We simply MUST move there one of these days!!! I can deal with the snow, I can deal with the snow, I can deal with the snow! 🙂 Ok, I am off to sand again……….

Beautiful hardwood floors everywhere! On such a large lot, wow. Keep showing us these listings, Ruth. Sara and I need to remember that it’s actually affordable in other places.

What a nice house, the outside remind me of my house. I like that bathroom in particular. Once the new owners are in, Ruth, you must suck them into the retro vortex so they don’t rip anything good out!
