Some Treasures At The Local ReStore

Here is a short post with some treasures currently at our Habitate for Humanity ReStore!Ham Loaf 001

Amazing isn’t it?  A Duncan Phyfe table in our very own ReStore! I was pretty excited.  This means that my fantasy of someday finding a Heywood Wakefield table there may come true yet.  Please, decorating gods! Please!

This is a terrible picture of a fabulously different Moe light.  If this was a white light, it would have been done and done for our kitchen, but it is black, so it is meant for someone else.  But when I held up the light, the squares all hung at different lengths.  Amazing, and only $10!!!!!

Don’t give up girl, you never know what you will find. I once found a Heywood corner table at Goodwill for $15. Boy, did it need A LOT of work though!!! It was TOTALLY beat up, like they had kept it outside or something. I think the only reason the owners gave it up is because they did not know it was Heywood. Before 1946 HW only marked the furniture with letter and number stamps and paper labels. The paper label on this table was long gone, but I was almost positive it was HW. I got home and checked my HW book and sure enough it was in there!
