Alex’s Amazing Vintage Cornice Boxes

Happy Saturday, everyone!

My post for Vintage Crafty Saturdays fell through today, so we are going to have to make do with a picture of Alex’s super cool vintage cornice boxes instead of a craft.

That is find with me, because these are cuter than anything I have ever made!

According to Alex these are all around her house, the lucky girl. I love the little scalloped edging. Very sweet.

Love them, Alex! Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂

I wondered who would notice the table. I love it, and there is a telephone in it. The cornice boxes are the same throughout the entire house. I’m the second owner of this house, and I’ve been lucky enough to have contact with the kids, now grown, that grew up here. They’ve given me a lot of info. Apparently, their mother had these made by someone local.

I SUPER love those cornice boxes Alex! And, like Ruth said, the scallop edging makes it even more cool! Your house seems like a great time capsule. Please, please, please send in pics of the colored tile sometime.
