Vintage Crafty Saturdays – Making Pin-Up Cupcake Toppers

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!  Tom and I had a great time visiting our parents, and I might even have a great line on some salvaged vintage goodies.  So all in all, a pretty great Christmas. Exciting, huh?  I will keep you all posted on what gets scrounged up.

In the meantime, I thought I would put up some pictures I have of the Pin-Up toppers I made for Alex’s New Years Eve party!  They were tons of fun to make, and I hope Alex enjoys them. 🙂

Pretty sweet, huh?  I have to get a listing up in my Etsy shop so you all can buy some. 🙂

I can’t wait to get them! We’re finally home, so I should get the mail today. I was going to make the cupcakes, but I have so much to get done. I ordered some beautiful ones today. No one has to know, right? 😉

Alex – What time should we all be there for the New Year’s Eve party? 😉

I think you should laminate some of them so they could be used as coasters!

They arrived, Ruth, and they are beautiful! Oh, and along with our wonderful cupcake toppers, we will be paying tribute to Patrick Swayze. It will be a night of scantily clad ladies from the past and Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Roadhouse, etc. 😉

These would look great atop cheesecake, too! (pretty lame, huh?)
They’re adorable and really would make great laminated coasters.

    Happy New Year, all!!!
