Pictures of My Kitchen – Christmas Presents and Vintage Glasses

I really liked the way that this countertop turned out with some of my new Christmas presents, so I thought I would share a photo of it.

Pretty sweet, huh?  The retro toaster is from my brother and his girlfriend, the Julia Child cookbook is from Tom’s sister, and the cookbook stand from my sister and Tom’s brother.  Good job guys, it all looks great!

The other things on the counter are a vintage blender from an estate sale, a coffee pot from another estate sale, and a set of canisters from one of Tom’s coworkers.

I also took a picture of our drinking glasses, because I thought they looked cute.  Not sure if I have posted this before (it is hard trying to remember what I have and haven’t done!) but I thought it was too cute not to add it.

Ohhh…pretties…..

The countertop is terrific, Ruth! I adore mid century housewares and would love seeing more of your collection.

Absolutely perfect. I’m not sure how you ever convince yourself to leave that kitchen. I’d stay there all day.
