Pictures of Vintage Goodies From Recent Trip

Here are a few pictures from our recent trip to Sarnia, Canada. It was just a quick drive for us, so we thought we would pop over for the day and drive around.

Here is a great mom and pop cafe called Cromwell Grill  where we had our lunch.  The inside had been remodeled, tastefully, in a modern retro way, but the outside is still untouched.  Love it!

A great vintage theater across from Cromwell’s Grill.

Here is a great sconce that we found at a Salvation Army that was on Christina Street, which had a lot of vintage and antique stores.  I loved this fixture, but there was only one so we passed on it.

I meant to take more pictures, but I didn’t!  We also saw some great ashtrays, a poodle salt shaker with rhinestone eyes and a monkey pepper shaker holding a bouquet of roses. Seriously! Ah well, next time…

Oh, I bet the poodle salt shaker was super cute! Gotta take more pics, but I know how it is because I always forget too. Love the Cromwell Grill!

If hindsight was 20/20, I would have taken photos years ago of some of the classic restaurants and such in our town. Most have been demolished.
