Vintage Crafy Saturday – Craft Room Progress & Thrifted Treasures Pictures

Oh my god.  We finally, FINALLY, got our new internet connection working and I am way beyond happy about it.  It was way more work than it should have been and had the added bonus of making me feel like a complete IDIOT.  Sigh. Anyway, I am excited to be able to finally upload photos with no problems and work on my own computer instead of Tom’s. Bliss.

In any case, here are some photos of the continued population of the basement crafting room.  I am really starting to take a liking to the space, and the more stuff I get down there, the more it feels like a craft room.

Here are the newly washed and bleached shelves.  I will probably paint them a jade green over the summer, but for right now white will have to work.

Two vintage dressers set up for more storage.

A desk and a sewing table, already filled with garbage.  Wow, it is starting to feel like home!

A shot of my shelves to the back wall. The leftover entertainment center is now stocked with fabric.

Some Valentine’s themed vintage aprons, hung on some hooks screwed into the shelves.

One of the shelves overflowing with vintage finds.  It was crazy when I was moving stuff, I literally found bags full of thrifted items I had forgotten I had purchased.  Bags…

…and bags…

…and bags. Holy cow.

Wow.  Hopefully now that this stuff is out in the open I can either start using it or selling it!

Have a great Saturday!!

Wow Ruth, it is so great to see all these pics of your thrifted finds – I love it! It looks like you found some really great stuff. God, I am SO jealous of your HUGE basement play/sewing/craft area, I would give my eye teeth to have that!

Hee, it’s not a sewing table unless if it’s coverd with stuff!

What is on that one piece of fabric(? – I think that’s what it is)? It looks like a cat and something else?
