MCM Home Improvement: Lawn Decor Part 2

By Sablemable aka Jan

My very favorite lawn ornament is the flamingo!

You can still get the original Don Featherstone flamingos, brand new and brand new expensive at $59.89 for the pair at www.amazon.com.

But if you don’t care for the color pink and are a devout sports fan, you can buy flamingos in your favorite team colors for the NFL, NBA and MLB for $38.95 (2 pairs) at www.plastic-flamingos.com.

And, since I was raised right, here are the flamingos in the colors of the Detroit Tigers.

Not to be outdone, you may want to add flamingo poop for a shot of realism.   A bag of 24 pink plastic poop nuggets costs $1.75 at www.gotpinkflamingos.com.

So forget the old adage of ruining the neighborhood  and decorate your yard with pink flamingos!!!!!

Holy pink crap! I thought those were gumdrops.

Sableeeeeeeee, I saw a gazing ball in a yard one block from us while I I was out taking my pre-work constitutional this morning. It was blue and looked great.

The flamingo flourishes where we live; you see them everywhere. Love ’em, too. The most popular yard art, etc. in recent years here is the flippin’ “flip flop”. It’s become the unofficial emblem of the area, for some strange reason.
