Vintage Crafty – Free Felt Rabbit Softie Pattern

By RetroRuth

It’s Saturday!  And you all know what that means.  I have failed to actually complete any sort of craft this week. Again. For the umpteenth time in a row.  However, I give you a cute pattern for a felt rabbit plush toy from Handicrafts and Hobbies For Pleasure and Profit, which was published in 1948.  This book is just chock full of great patterns, and I am sure you will be seeing many more here on future Saturdays!

This is cute and I am planning on making it this spring. Is there another page to the pattern, because the picture w/instructions shows a head and body gusset, but there isn’t a corresponding piece on the pattern.

Gusset would just be a long strip of cloth that comes to a point under the tail and just behind the ears.
