Where Did The Kittens Go? – Foster Kitten Update

By RetroRuth

So, have any of you wondered what ever became of all of the foster kittens Tom and I were raising?  I am happy to announce they all have found fantastic homes with great families.  Twix and Kit went to live with a nice, young family, and have been renamed Max and Ruby.  Spree and Baby Ruth were adopted by a local vet. York was adopted to be the best friend of a sweet 7-year-old boy, and in the beginning of August Kat went home to live with a receptionist at another vet’s office.

And tiny little Clark?  Well, he was adopted by my parents.  He grew from this:

Look at the head on that guy!  Jeez!  By the way, he is 7 weeks old here, and probably weighed 400 grams. So, so tiny. But he grew into….

This handsome boy!  Isn’t that fantastic?  We are so proud of him. In fact, you might say freakishly proud.  The best part is, my mom gives me constant updates and I get to hear Clark stories all the time.   In fact, he came to visit us a few weeks ago, and Tom was able to get some great pictures.

Even bigger!  He is getting so huge.  And he is just the sweetest little guy.

And here he is playing like crazy.

Tom and I had a great/horrible time raising these guys.  It was totally a rewarding experience, and we are glad we did it, but I don’t know if I would do it again.  Never 7 at once.  Yipes!

Remember, give generously to your local animal shelter!  They save the lives of so many sweet babies, just like Clark!

Ruth! I am so proud of Clark and all the babies, but most of all you and Tom for taking such good care of them. Clark is magnificent. What a handsome chap he turned out to be. Bless you for fostering that little family. I know how much work goes into the hand-raising of kittens – you do the same things for them that you do for human infants. So worth it, in my opinion. Thanks for the wonderful updates and the good news!

Clark is one good lookin’ so-and-so! Thanks for this update on the babies. I’m thrilled that they all have nice families and that they are probably all getting spoiled right now!

    I love happy endings!

Yes, remember all of the shelters/rescues, etc. that take the time to care for the furkids who had been abused and abandoned.

I myself have had all shelter/rescue dogs and they are the best! They just want to be loved, that’s all!

What a little cutie he is! I love white kitty cats- my mom acctually adopted a white male from a litter we fostered too. how funny. 🙂 But wow- 7 babies? We had 6, but, with a foster mom. So, we didn’t need to bottle feed. Kudos to you for taking them all on. Pretty awesome. 🙂
