MCM Home Improvement: Bullet Lights

By Sablemable aka Jan

No MCM home is complete without at least one bullet light fixture inside or out.  But finding new ones has been almost fruitless and if they are found, the cost is way over most people’s budgets.  However, you can find them on Ebay, Etsy and Bonanzle as well as thrift stores, rummage sales and estate sales.

To help you out, here is one whole page of bullet lights/lamps, plus some pull-down lights for the living room, i.e., Lightolier taken from my 1959 Sears Spring/Summer catalog.

Oh, yeah!  Don’t forget your bicycle; it needs a bullet light, too!

    Saraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

I’ve got 2 photos to send to you; one is a bullet wall light that is in my ’58 ranch that I never even noticed until now and the other is a brass floor lamp I bought on Ebay that looks like a flying saucer on a stick.
