Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Brooklyn, NY

By Sablemable aka Jan

Whenever I think of New York City boroughs, I have in my mind downtown high-rise apartments and quaint brownstone walk-ups.  I need to get out more.

At 3232 Whitney Avenue in the borough of Brooklyn, stands a beautiful 1955 built ranch house!  There are 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom and 2 half bathroom, a finished basement, 2-car attached garage and 4,152 square feet.  The price is not so beautiful at $1,185,000.00.  Century21 Homefront Realty is the broker and may be reached at (718)252-6060.

That kitchen is to die for!  What caught your eye, readers?

That first super-shiny bathroom – love!

I want to know how much it sold for when it was built. ; ) I don’t understand how anyone can afford to live in NYC, honestly. At least in anything bigger than a closet. I was born in Queens and we lived in a small 2br apartment in Jackson Heights, probably about 800 sq. ft. if that. I shudder to think what it is now – probably a condo with a value of 200K or more.
