Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Indianapolis, Indiana

By Sablemable aka Jan

Welcome to Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the Indy 500!  Today’s home at 6999 N. Pennsylvania Street is a limestone beauty built in 1952.  There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full basement, 2 car attached garage, a fenced-in backyard and 4,098 square feet of livng space.  The price is $275,000.00.  Contact Keller Williams Realty Indy South at (317)882-5900 for more information.  Photos are courtesy of Keller Williams (www.kw.com).

I noticed that most of the windows, which are original, are the steel casement type, which are very energy-inefficient and would have to be replaced unless the new owners want to spend an arm and a leg on heating costs.  Albeit, this is a wonderful home and needs a MCM affecionado to restore it to it’s MCM glory!

Any takers?

Oh that’s right, I live 2000 miles away. I guess that wouldn’t work out so well for the Mr’s commute huh? 🙂

Oooh, nice! Initially I was thinking it was looking like quite the white house, but it really did redeem itself in the end. Gorgeous!

Beautiful house – I always love stone exteriors, so timeless. Love that dark blue bathroom tile but I bet it’s a bear to keep looking clean. We lived in Indy for 10 years – we miss some of the amenities sometimes but we do NOT miss the snow and ice! (we live in East Texas now)

OMG! Those last couple pictures are remarkable! The kitchen! The bathrooms! The sunroom! That basement with the slanty bar! Uh! Love!
