A Night At The Rendezvous

By Sara In AZ

I think we all need a night at the Rendezvous! I came across the Rendezvous Bed & Breakfast in Palm Springs awhile back and I just had to share it with y’all. I have never stayed here, but I sure want to someday!

This place is really kitsch-tastic and looks like a 1950s dream come true.

Click HERE for a link to the Rendezvous.

Here is the entrance to the Rendezvous.

The B&B was originally called the Mira Loma, and it was built in the 1930’s.  The hotel was then added onto in the 1950s. It is a true 1950s style set-up with all the rooms facing inward to the courtyard and the pool.

You even get free breakfast every morning!!! Oh my gosh, that looks delicious!

The 10 rooms all have different themes and you had better believe they stay true to the 50s!

Here is the Western themed ‘Stagecoach’ room.

Here is the ‘Honeymoon Hideaway’, which is decked out in cool mid-century furniture.

Here is the ‘Hawaiian Surf’ room, dedicated to all of us hula lovers!

Here is where I will definitely be staying when I go to the Rendezvous – the ‘Pretty In Pink’ room. It is said that Marilyn Monroe actually stayed here, in this room, in the 1950s. I am so there!

I am completely in love with the couch in this room. I think I might just have to move in!

See y’all at the Rendezvous!

Ruth & Andrea – I think we all need to stay in the Marilyn room and bask in the greatness of that couch! 🙂
