A Random Vintage Pink Bathroom

Or Why Only Freaks Like Me Take Pictures Of Vintage Public Bathrooms

By RetroRuth

So, you can totally blame Pam over at Retro Renovation for this one.  Or, for the idea behind this one at least.

Yep, that’s right!  It’s a vintage pink bathroom. A public bathroom, no less.  And, just like Pam has been known to do, I couldn’t resist snapping a couple of pics.

This fun bathroom is located at the Spencer Museum of Art on the University of Kansas campus.

Tom has a friend there who is a professor, so we stopped by on our recent road trip to visit and check out the campus. And, I made them all wait while I snapped pics of a bunch of old tile. Sigh.

Oh, and this picture of a cake painting?  The picture was in the museum, and I desperately, desperately want it for my kitchen! Yum!

How can there be 8 slice on plate when the cake is still intact?

It’s a magic cake, which is the best kind of cake.
