Seafoam Cantaloupe Pie Today on the Mid-Century Menu

Or How Hilarious Archive Posts Deserve A Second Chance

By RetroRuth

This week we have a hilarious example of the Mid-Century Menu archive.  I decided to pull Seafoam Pie out of hibernation this week, dust it off and show it again. Why, you ask?  Because any post that sucks me in and makes me laugh when I am flipping through the archives looking for something else DESERVES a second run.

And you get to see how Tom enjoyed it!

Wait…the dessert looks the same, but that’s not Tom!!

There. Much better!

Come check it out!

The sofa is nice but I really like those chairs and the coffee table. The pie looks refreshing but rather odd, as many of the dishes from that era do but I was really taken aback when I saw John eating it! I had to do a double take! That was fun.
