Beat The Heat With Some Vintage Refrigerators

Or Our New Image Gallery of Vintage Refrigerators And Freezers

By RetroRuth

Wow, has it been a hot summer! I can barely remember another summer where I have actually had the air conditioning running so much.  So, in the interest of escapism and bringing down the temperature, here is a fun new image gallery with a bunch of cooling and very cool vintage refrigerators and freezers.

I don’t know what is my favorite dish in her fridge. I can’t decide if it is the gelatin covered with stuffed olives that she is holding, or that Pyrex bowl filled with hard-boiled eggs. All I know is that all of it is gold.

So imagine yourself holding a cool glass of milk and standing in front of the open door of one of these frosty-air-pumping beauties.

Ahhh…isn’t that much better?? I feel cooler already…

Oh, and check out some other fun image galleries here!

Beautiful! It seems like a ham is mandatory. There are always hams in refrigerator shots. 🙂

I love the one with the wood kitchen and blue counter tops.

I’m going to go stand in front of the fridge now it’s so hot here! 🙂
