Won’t You Be My Neighbour? Down Under

By Sablemable aka Jan

Gidday, mates!  Yep, we’re here in beautiful Oz to check out this fantastic MCM house located at 33 Derby Street, Pascoe Vale, Victoria, Australia.   Reader Jennie sent this to Retro Ruth, our beloved leader.

Pascoe Vale is a suburb of Melbourne, 6 miles/10km north of the city.  Today’s home has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a 1 car detached garage.  There’s not much information on this home, i.e., square footage, price and year built, nor are there many photos, which is a bloody shame.  Also, I’m not sure what it means by “state trustees,”, but it could be similar to the estate sales here in the States.

I’m pretty sure ‘State Trustees’ sell properties when the owner has died without leaving a will. Perhaps. They’re different to a regular estate agent.

I have no idea what a choccie fishie is! I’d accept a choccie frog though. 😉

I would move to Australia just for the kitchen. Unfortunately, the husband and children won’t.
