A Game Of Cat And Mouse –Mid-Century Photo News, March 15, 1963

By RetroRuth

This was too fun not to share. It comes from my grandfather’s extensive collection of Associated Press wire photos. This one is from March 15, 1963, and the caption reads:

Kitty And Mouse001

Minneapolis, March 15 – PLAYFUL MOUSE TRAP – Snooky, whose natural feline fancy is trapping mice, whiles away the cold winter days playing cat and mouse with his pal, Ish Kabibble, a pet white mouse. Snooky, a 5-year-old tomcat, and the mouse – a Christmas gift for Snooky – are pets of the Donald Marsolais family in suburban Minneapolis.

Kitty And Mouse001

I think Ish Kabibble (Should I worry?)  is quiet possibly the cutest mouse name ever. Ever!
