Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Hillsboro, Oregon

By Sablemable aka Jan

Reader Alan sent us today’s MCM home and I thought it was cute the way he found it!  Alan commutes to work via bicycle and spotted the home.   He rode by it again on his way home to get a better look.  Kudos, Alan!

The home is located at 614 NE Jackson School Road.  It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2,010 square feet and was built in 1956.  There is a 2-car attached garage.  The price is $242,723.00 and is a short sale.  Pack 1st Properties is listing the home and broker Debby McGoldrick is the broker.  She may be reached at (503)648-3000.

This is a fantastic home, gang!  My favorites are the front entry door (are those original door chimes) and the kitchen cabinets.

What’s your favorite feature, readers?

Wow – so gorgeous!! I love the entry, and also the living room and bathrooms…and the hot tub! The kitchen is a little disappointing, but I’d definitely be able to overlook that in light of all the rest of the perfection in the house!

Bettyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! The kitchen is a bit on the small side, but I still luv it!

Too bad I can’t clone myself and buy/live in all the wonderful MCM homes for sale!

Thanks for posting!! I didn’t notice this house for quite a while on my cycling commute because it’s somewhat hidden from the road. I’ll be watching it from now on!

    Hi Sable & Alan!

That entryway is amazing! I must say, I love the addition of the bullet planter. Yum!
