Mid-Century Wild Cats from Bruno Frost

By RetroRuth

Older books with great illustrations are some of my favorite finds at thrift stores and garage sales!  These wild cat  illustrations come from a Funk & Wagnall’s children’s dictionary that contained an excerpt from A Child’s Book of Jungle Animals by Bruno Frost.  If you can get your hands on it, it is a great book and the illustrations are just gorgeous!

Cats001

The Civet

Cats002

The Jaguar.

Cats003

The Leopard.

Cats004

The Lion.

The Ocelot.
