Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Grand Rapids, Michigan

By Sablemable aka Jan

If I had family ties in Grand Rapids, I’d make (yes, make) The Bobster buy me today’s featured home.

Located at 2510 Leonard Street, this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom “executive” brick ranch was built in 1959.  It has a 2-car attached garage, circular driveway, a full, walkout basement, 2.73 acres with a beautiful stream running through the property.  Although natural gas is available, there is baseboards for steam heating.  Don’t see too many homes with steam or hot water heating anymore.  The price is $220,00.00 and the property is listed with Keller Williams of Grand Rapids East.   Marilyn Hazard is the agent, may be reached at 616-575-1800.

As usual, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

I forgot to mention that there are loads of built-ins, at least according to the realtor’s description.

What’s your favorite detail of this house, readers?

As Piglet from Winnie the Pooh said…”Oh dear. Oh d-d-d-d-dear dear.”

I don’t think I could ever survive winters in Grand Rapids, but that house might convince me to try. My favorite detail is ALL THAT STONE. Positively yummy. And my parents had that exact gold bedspread in the master bedroom when I was very tiny.
