Won’t You Be My Neighbor Saturday– MCM Home In Seattle, WAHappy Saturday, everyone! I am happy to bring you this great MCM home in Seattle. This listing is a little light on the pictures, (Where’s the kitchen? And the bathrooms?) but the pictures they do have are very nice and show a lot of MCM potential, so I thought we should give this one a shot anyway!
This home is listed by Nadine Malmgren, Lake & Company and the listing can be found here.
The listing states:
Swanky original Mid-Century w/ architectural features that set this apart from all others! Stunning Sound & Mountain views, vaulted ceilings, picture windows that span across the living and dining room, oversized fireplace, 3 + bedrooms, 1.75 baths. Great daylight lower level has spacious family room with game room and pool table in place! Attached 2-car carport. Join Blue Ridge club for community events, tennis, pool, parks and more!
The home was built in 1956. It’s 2,960 square feet and the asking price is $800,000. (Eep!)
What do you think, guys? I think with the slate floor, barrel furniture and awesome fireplaces, there is a possibility this could be an MCM dream of a house!
With a pretty great view!

Wow!!! That view is amazing! The house looks awesome from what they show, I only wish we could see the kitchen and baths too — but $800,000, ugh.

OMG! Yeah, realtors, where are the kitchen/bath photos! Shame on owners for changing the lights! Love, love the front door!

My husband had that barrel chair and table set and I made him garage sale it back in 2000. I’m so ashamed.
