November 21, 2011Our Contest Finalists And Voting Begins To Choose A Grand Prize Winner!
Wow! We got some awesome entries for our “Odds ‘N Ends” contest! It was really, really hard to pick the three finalists, but after lots of thinking, discussing, thinking, arguing and then more thinking, we have it narrowed down to these three (which are in no particular order!):
We loved the shadowboxed look of his finished sign and the craftiness in putting it all together. Uncle Atom writes:
I had most of the materials laying around from leftover construction projects, so the only real money spent on this street address sign was for the numbers and the nuts and bolts to attach the sign to the posts.
If you would like to see the whole tutorial, check it out on Uncle Atom’s blog!
Cute, crafty AND thrifty! And it’s from a vintage Woman’s Day!
Please stand by for vintage-sweetness! And get this, the fish inside are named Gomer Pyle and Barney Fife!
To see Susie’s TV transformation, you can head over to her blog and read all about it!
And now it is up to you, dear Readers! Who will be our grand prize winner?!?!
Voting starts now and goes until 11/27, with Grand Prize winner announced on 11/28. Remember: You can vote once a day. Tell your friends to come and vote, too. The more the merrier!
The Grand Prize Winner will receive 52 retro Christmas Cards from What’s Buzzin!
The two runner-ups will each receive a 28 retro card variety pack, so don’t worry about them being left out! Thanks again to Diane from What’s Buzzin’ for the awesome prizes.
And thanks to everyone who sent us an entry! It was a challenging contest this year, but you guys didn’t disappoint and we loved all the entries!
