Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Benton Harbor, Michigan

By Sablemable aka Jan

Today’s home is practically in my backyard, so much so that I can throw rocks in the yard!

At 291 Hoover Avenue sits this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home built in 1955.  There is a sink and shower in the basement.  Looks like only the kitchen floor was changed to ceramic tile and the original lighting was switched, but the rest of the house is intact, including the front door and aluminum storm door.    The asking price is $109,900.00 and Attila Real Estate has the listing.  Call Art Attila at 269-983-8000 for a showing.

Photos are courtesy of Keller Williams (www.kw.com) and the exposures were edited by me.

This is a nice home that needs MCM preservation.  I knew the original owners and their children, as having attended school with them.  In fact the last occupant was one of the daughters.  Terrific family.

What do you think, readers?  Should I rush out and make an offer?
