January 2, 2012My Nifty Thrifty – New Sponsor Shout-Out
Welcome to 2012, Everyone! It’s time to ring in the new year, make those resolutions, and buy everything for yourself that you didn’t get for Christmas!
What?? Too materialistic?!?! Nahhh…you can never have enough mid-century goodies.
And you can never have too many friends, either. Everyone give a big welcome to our new friend Brigitte from My Nifty Thrifty, our new sponsor here on the blog!
Isn’t she lovely?? Brigitte has been thrifting since she was 10, and still has a passion for it. Brigitte writes:
I am a 12 year eBay seller who’s experience in vintage goes back to high school because being the youngest of 8, all I could afford was thrift store clothing. I quickly developed my own style and the "eye" to spot unique and different items.
Before eBay I would drive 3 hours to Hollywood Los Angeles,CA and sell vintage clothing (and shoes and access) to physical stores for them to resell in their boutiques. I also sold collectibles like vintage kitchen items, tins and more. eBay has changed all of that. I love to rescue items both clothing and collectibles and pass them onto to folks like you. Whether that be old or new, I find great items on a daily basis. It is my pleasure to do so.
Nice! We are happy you keep having great luck thrifting, Brigitte, especially when it means you get great finds like these:
Georges Briard Coral Icicle glass! Ummm…yes please! I have a cream-colored tumbler in this pattern, and I have to tell you these glasses are really something. The pattern alone is crazy, but on top of that it is textured. Love!
Atomic print circle skirt. Enough said. Who could really have too many of these, right? Not me!
So everyone welcome Brigitte, and please take a look at all the awesome stuff over at her store, My Nifty Thrifty. We are excited that she picked No Pattern Required to sponsor, and look forward to seeing more of her lovely finds!
