Vintage Colored Bathroom Fixtures On Craigslist – Pink, Blue and Peach Wonderful!Today we are turning to Craigslist for our vintage inspiration: Colored bathroom fixtures! You all know how difficult it is to find a vintage bathroom in good condition, so I know a lot of people who have just decided to skip the search and recreate their own vintage bathroom. Well, here are some fixtures for sale that could make your colored bathroom dreams a reality!
First up, we have two complete colored bathrooms for sale in Detroit
Ugh…just a warning…if you feel bad for displaced vintage bathrooms or destroyed time capsules, you should probably avert your eyes now.
Here is a complete 1951 green and yellow bathroom suite in Chicago.
Wow. What a shame.
Moving on, a very cute peach sink and metal cabinet with a marble top in Indiana. What a find!
A peach bathroom, complete with metal sink legs, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
A pink Crane Sink from Indiana.
Another pink Crane Sink, with matching toilet from Detroit.
Has anyone ever seen a bathroom like this??? A pink and turquoise bathroom set from Detroit, for only $25!!
An American Standard toilet and sink combo, again with original legs, from Indianapolis.
An avocado 1970’s bathroom from Grand Rapids, MI.
A yellow bathroom set from Rhode Island. And yes, let’s all look sadly at the tilework.
And last, but totally not least, a peach bathroom from Seattle.
Thanks heaps and heaps to Jan (aka SableMable) who started searching on Craigslist today at exactly the same time I did, and contributed the links for over half of this post!!!

The green and yellow bathroom is quite lovely. I don’t get why anyone would replace it. I could see wanting an under the sink cabinet, but a basket under it would work for extra toilet paper and soap. It’s not “dated” looking. It’s clean. It’s kept up well. I have two bathrooms from the 80′s that look way worse.

Oh these just make me cry. I wish I had more bathrooms but three is really enough when cleaning time comes. My hubby, the plumber, is always telling me about removing the same type of items from homes (he hates to see them go also) – and of course I want them all. I did get a nice pink/peach set for my downstairs bathroom for our MCM bassement and a mint green sink in my craft room. Maybe I should start selling what he takes out – more $$$ for more MCM goodies!
