Flooring That Has Me Going In Circles, Squares And Lines
Next to pink bathrooms, flooring designs are one of my passions in MCM homes.
I’ve been studying vinyl tile colors for my own home and I got to thinking about the different ways they were laid-out.
Images are from Vintage Ad Browser (www.vintageadbrowser.com), Ad Classix(www.adclassix.com) and my own personal stash of vintage magazines.
Kentile had some rockin’ flooring! Look at the way this flooring was laid-out!
Another Kentile pattern. I had to cut this to size, folks, but you get the picture.
Is this awesome or what? A “leaf” created from Armstrong linoleum!

Little astros!

This is wild! I love the mix of pinks and reds, don’t you?
This is either a seafood restaurant or restaurant overlooking an ocean, and what a neat way of emphasizing it by bringing the ocean inside!

Did this give you inspiration, Readers?

Wow, these are really beautiful, and to my eye much prettier than the ceramic tile that is currently in my (builder’s tract home) kitchen. I especially like the flooring in the nursery school. Although don’t you think the nursery workers look a wee bit like prison guards?
Yikes!
Thanks for sharing these!
