Kool Kitsch For Sale on eBay

By Sara In AZ

Oh my gosh y’all, do I have some cool finds for you to see this week! Maybe one day, after I win the lottery we can afford some of these things, but for now just looking at them in pictures will have to do. Check it out!!!

First up, check out these 4 Mid Century Barstools from seller alymall. These are just like my Turquoise Barstools I picked up a while back!

Wow! This  Vintage 1950s Pink Bathroom Vanity from seller dolly20 sure does put a smile on my face!

s2

OMG!!! Poodle Canisters!!!! These Ransburg French Poodle Canisters, from seller gentry-jorgensen, are SO adorable. However, they are missing one canister. You can see the full Poodle Canister Set in a post I did a while back.

I’ve been daydreaming about this auction for a few days now…….Check out this Handwritten 1940s Diary from seller houseofmirth. This is an actual diary written by Rosalie Scott from 1939-1941. I just adore scrapbooks and diaries like this, and I would love to own it but the price is way to high for me.  Also, it makes me SO sad there was no one in the family to hand this down to.

Do you ever wonder what your fortune might be for the day, kind of like William Shatner in the ‘Nick of Time’ episode of Twilight Zone? Well look no further than this Vintage Ask Swami Napkin Holder from seller 835doug. Soooooo COOL!!!!!

s6

Maybe you are looking for some retro ceiling lights? You have to check out this Set of 2 Vintage 1950s Ceiling Lights from seller cocoamodern. They are insanely high priced, but so insanely cool!

s7

Lastly, check out this Vintage 1950s Living Room Set from seller d2dsales. There are 2 small couches/loveseats and a sweet little table all included in the deal and how cool is that metal piece under the arm!!!! If I EVER win the lottery I’m headed right for Pennsylvania and d2dsales!!! Smile

Have a great weekend y’all!

Thanks for posting on the diary. I am riveted by the story! I noticed that there is another diary available for the next year or so also by rosalie bockius scott —

and did some googling. It appears she did not marry Bill “Sascha” and went on to have quite a career as a professor!

It is really sad that such a vivacious and successful woman’s diary ended up being auctioned on ebay, but on the plus side, we now have an opportunity to hear her story be told.

Thanks for these weekly entries, and all the work you do on the blog, I read it daily!

p – I am so happy you like reading No Pattern, that just makes my day – as we all try to work hard and have interesting posts for y’all to read! 🙂

Thanks so much for the links on Rosalie, I am completely riveted by her too. It was interesting to read her obit, as I still want to think of her as that young girl in the diary! It made me very sad to see that she did have children to hand these mementos down too yet no one wanted them apparently. So very sad……….
