This IS Your Granny’s Crafting! Party Edition!

By Betty Crafter

The Great Craft Block of ’12 continues…but I have something to show you!  I picked up this sweet book at a charming little local bookstore the other day:

This cute little book has all the ideas you need to throw a crafty little kids’ party!  It also has some killer illustrations.

What party is complete without adorable invitations?  This book has ideas and how to instructions for invitations to go with all kinds of themes (and tons of theme ideas as well!)

Any good party hostess knows you have to keep your guests entertained and this book has plenty of ideas for you!  Activities and game ideas dominate most of the book, accompanied again by awesome illustrations.

There’s also tons of great tutorials for crafts the kids can do at the party, like these little barnyard finger puppets.

And cute party hats and favors.

And these sweet lollipops.

Of course, what Betty Crocker book is complete without a host of good party recipes?  And these are tailored to party themes.  Awesome.  I’ll have those satellite tomatoes, please.

Um, I think I feel a party coming on!  Too bad Little Betty’s birthday is so far away…

Also, over on my blog, Betty Crafter, there are a couple more days to enter my giveaway to win this super adorable squirrel planter!

Just go here, like me on facebook or follow me on twitter, and leave a comment!  The winner will be chosen randomly on Thursday.

Sometimes, the illustrations in these old books are just stunning. Betty Crocker cornered the market on them, if you ask me.

That is so bizarre; I found that exact same book at my local goodwill, and I was really tempted to buy it.
