By Sablemable

At 24 Skylark Lane sits this fantastic modern home built in 1965.  An apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, Allan J. Gelbin, designed this beauty.  Thus, there are a lot of similarities, such as concrete flooring and built-ins.

There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1,560 square feet of living space.  William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty is the broker and the agent is Susan Blabey.  Susan may be contacted at 203-979-7774.  The price?  $1,588,888.00.  Photos are courtesy of www.realtor.com.

As an architect I see many Wright inspired houses but with all drywall inside. The attention to built-ins and the wood finishes makes this a cut above the rest! Thanks for posting this!

This is the kind of house to pull ideas from, and use in your own retro-vation, cause $1018 a square foot for a house that you’ll have to agree not to change is a LOT!
