Won’t You Be My Neighbor Friday Edition & Reader’s Pick! Amherst, New York
I don’t know how I missed this gem in my weekly searches, but thank the Lord that Facebook follower, Paul, did not!
At 163 High Park Boulevard sits this great MCM home built in 1947. Looks can be deceiving when you see the image of the front, but look again – there are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2,511 square feet. Plenty of room to host a “Mad Men” party!
The price is $349,000,00 and the listing is with Gurney, Becker & Bourne (www.gurneyrealestate.com). Agent Kristan Andersen may be contacted at 716-480-0000 for a showing.

Let’s give Paul a great, big round of applause for finding this home! Thank you, Paul!
Is this a winner, readers?

This is my favorite so far of all the houses you’ve featured. I hope the furniture is included. This house is PERFECT! Why don’t they make built-ins anymore?

I’m loving the seventies re-do of this home – the mirrored master bedroom with the dark ceiling, the great basement, terrific furniture. I wonder if it comes furnished…

Woo, that wallpaper in the pink bathroom is something else! That basement is utterly awesome, though.
