Gaslight Square Antiques in Minocqua, WI and Some Vintage Chemex Coffeemaker InstructionsAs you might have already guessed, Tom and I did a little antiquing on our recent trip to Wisconsin.
I mean, come on. Of course we did!
One of our stops was Gaslight Antiques when were visiting my parents in their 1970’s time capsule cabin in Minocqua. Gaslight is always packed with a bunch of great stuff, and this time was no exception!
It started out with this great chafing dish/warmer. Love it!
Then the biggest collection of chalkware I’ve ever seen for sale. And the prices were pretty good, too!
A bunch of vintage children’s toy appliances. I always love seeing these!
An electric pot-washer (!), which I have never seen before.
This was fun. A vintage Chemex Coffeemaker with a box of filters AND the original instructions. Tom and I read over these a few times, until I just decided to snap some pics so we could get a move on and read them later to our heart’s content.
A box of Kraft Onion Gravy mix, which I wanted. The mix was even still inside!
A pretty kitty in some salt and pepper shakers.
Pastel Tiki mugs. I LOVED these, but they were expensive! So I had to pass.
A very neat base on a casserole dish.
Some Lefton bluebirds and some Holt Howard.
And a Holt Howard cookie jar, pretty much adorable.
Unfortunately, Tom and I didn’t find anything that we really loved, but it was still a great stop. All that chalkware kind of made my day!

Oh that vintage kid’s stove is so utterly adorable! I wish I could find one of those around here.

That pot washer is actually a clothes washer. More trouble than it’s worth, I think.
I totally own that Pixie cookie jar! Mine’s a repro., but I still love it.
