Red Sky Trading Post in Glover, VT

By RetroRuth

Today we have some great pictures of the Red Sky Trading Post in Glover, VT that were sent to us by Christy! Christy, if you remember, is one of our sponsors from Orwa Designs. Christy recently took a vacation and she loved the trading post so much that she took pictures to share with all of us!

According to Christy, this is an “on-your-honor” trading post, where you help yourself to the wonderful goods and leave your money on the table. Fun!

As mouthwatering as the vintage goodies were, it turns out that the food ended up being Christy’s weak point! She ended up buying some chips and homemade salsa. Yum!

Thanks for the fun photos, Christy. It looks like an adorable place!

Wow! That place looks great! I love all of the notes everywhere and an honest to goodness honor system? Gives me faith in humanity.

The pink box with the handle on it is a 1950’s baby monitor! How cute is that? We will definitely be visiting this place several times more every summer, it is my favorite trading post in Vermont. Another great one to check out is Evansville Trading Post in Evansville, VT.

Thanks so much for blogging about this, everyone deserves a chance to visit 🙂

I have never, ever been to the East Coast before in my life…..but gosh this makes me want to go SO badly. This store looks amazing, maybe one day I will make it all the way over there! Thanks for taking the pics Christy! 🙂

Oh that mini pink fridge and stove are sooo cute! Not to mention all of that fantastic kitchenware – I admire your restraint, Christy, I wouldn’t have been able to resist!
