Won’t You Be My Neighbor Friday Edition-Benton Harbor, Michigan

Always love finding a home in my neck of the woods and today’s home is located at 286 Downey Drive, not too far from my homestead.

Built in 1950, there are 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a 1-car attached garage and a full, unfinished basement.  The price is $104,900.00 and is listed with Realty Executive Pro Brokers, (269) 429-4663.  Photos are courtesy of Keller Williams.

The only change I saw was with the front door, but thank God for Habitat’s ReSale!  A lover of MCM could move right into this home and not worry about paying out extra monies to bring it back up to snuff!

This is a darling little house constructed right during the heyday of mid-century modern!  Well established neighborhood, great police and fire protection and close to the hospital, shopping and restaurants.

Do you like this house, readers?

Very simple and traditional, yet definitely mid-century! I approve! Good find.

    Midcentury? Yes. Modern – no.
