Won’t You Be My Neighbor? East Grand Rapids, Michigan

By Sablemable

Here’s a wonderful MCM home in East Grand Rapids!  A one-owner home built in 1953, the only changes made were mechanical; 200 amp electrical service, new furnace, etc.  The realty company even included the floor plan in their photographs!

The listing is with Keller Williams of Grand Rapids East, 616-575-1800 and the price is $249,900.00.

THE KITCHEN

In the description, it states that the cabinet doors and drawers were replaced.  Hmm, looks like the original cabinets to me.

THE SUNROOM

I have the same knotty pine paneling, ceiling and walls, in my sunroom.

THE MASTER BATHROOM

Great color combinations!  Gray sink and tub, pink and burgundy tiles!  You know I’d hunt down a vintage gray commode to replace the white one!

Also, be sure to stop back on Friday for another Won’t You Be My Neighbor.  I have a special home to feature that was sent in by one of our readers.  You’ll love it!

Love this house! Interesting that they added some gray tiles on top of the bull-nose in the master bath…I’m guessing they probably added in a shower nozzle in there after the fact?????

If they did, that was a pretty good idea! I think it looks interesting as well!

Oh, that KITCHEN…and a den, too!

Grand Rapids is a pretty fab little town. They’ve done so much in recent years. Also, I’m pretty sure backyard chickens are legal there…
