Kodak Moments of Christmas Past

By Sablemable

Great photographs in color and black & white of Christmas in the Fifties and Sixties!

How many of you had one of these rocking horses?  I did!

Shopping mob in Chicago.

Downtown Detroit with Hudson’s in the background.

A Christmas Parade in North Carolina

Oh, my!  I remember those hairdos! Plenty of AquaNet and a lot of teasing!

Not one jack-in-the-box, but two!

Woolworth’s Christmas Shoppers 1964.

A ponytail, circle skirt; how Fifties is that!

Typical Christmas dinner snap.  Love the light!

Look at those toys!  There’s even a stand-mixer!

Hope that you enjoyed the photo album!

Great pics that you found Sable……what I wouldn’t give to go shopping in that 1964 Woolworth’s! 🙂

Andreaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! I know! Love the little wringer-washer, too!

Saraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! When I was 10 years old in 1964, we lived across the highway from a Woolworth’s. It smelled off candy, coffee (luncheonette) and the wooden floors creaked. I used to go over there and look at all of the toys, clothes, everything. Yes, you would have loved it, girlfriend!
