Etsy Friday-Avocado Green
I associate the color avocado with the early to mid Seventies, probably because I remember it so vividly. Mom and Dad had bought their first and only home in 1972 and the outside was painted avocado. Of course! They also decorated the interior in an avocado green theme.

The avocado shaped train case, that’s clever. I never thought avocado green would be popular again! But, some of it is pretty cool, like the chafing dish. I once lived with avocado green shag carpet..god forbid you dropped something like jewelry, you might never find it again.
This makes me wonder if the 1980s stuff will ever be popular again??!!

Awesome finds, Sable! I love the chafing dish, and that little bird is so adorable! I have a orphan of the owl s & p shakers, but mine is just brown, not green.

I want to wear that hostess gown and push that baby stroller down the street – full of the other items of course. Not babies.

I had that stroller in white and gold! Wish I had it now. So do the cats.
