Living in San Francisco, it would be fun to have the lighter on my coffee table.

I just love the vintage souvenir stuff, I think it’s completely adorable! I don’t have tons of it but I do have some Hula girls and other Hawaiian stuff and also a few ashtrays…..funny though – that first item, the Missouri state wall plaque…I got one exactly the same for my Mom but of Wisconsin!

Saraaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! Does your mom still have that Wisconsin plaque?

The straw tote, I thought of you instantly when I saw it. Great retro piece for hot weather.

Yes, she totally still has it Sable! I’m guessing they must have done all of the states as wall plaques – though this one and Mom’s are the only ones I have ever seen.

That straw tote is killer, I really love that!

Not much, I do own a few shot glasses (I love the kitschy ones, they always make an impression on guests), a few tall glasses and coffee mugs. Not much of a souvenir person.

Fan, the shot glasses are always interesting and are useful, LOL! I have exactly nothing in souvenirs, but maybe I’ll start looking for some vintage ones.

We are crazy-into the tall frosted glasses! We probably have about 30 right now, and we are running out of display room! Time to start moving some to the basement bar…

Ruuuuuuuuuuth! Yes, they would look great in the basement behind the bar! You’ll have to do a follow-up piece about your glasses someday.

Ohhhhh, I love those shot glasses! I also get a kick out f those Calgary pennants. I have a 50s era pennant that I found at an antique show from my small city – had to buy it, since it was so unusual. We are not a tourist destination, LOL!

Andreaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought of you when I saw those pennants! Don’t you still have the Calgary Stampede every year? That must still draw loads of visitors.

Vintage souvenir stuff is awesome! Mel & I have tons of Hawaiian stuff in our tiki room, a vintage Florida souvenir tablecloth in the diner with these cool flamingos on them, and Gay Fad state glasses.
