Tom was happy in the beginning. Then he had to eat them.

When my kids were in high school I worked as a substitute cook in the lunchroom. It was my job to make desserts. I made those same cookies from an old hand written recipe! The older cooks told me the recipe was from many years ago. I had to make the batch of cookies for 800! The huge commercial mixer still in use was from the 1950′s. I liked the cookies so much that I copied the recipe (and adapted it for home use). Thanks for sharing
