This IS Your Granny’s Crafting! Easter Egg Ornament Kit

This is Little Betty’s FAVORITE time of year. Sometimes I worry about her pickin’ skills because whenever we hit an estate sale or thrift store, she cannot resist the Easter decorations! She clearly feels a magnetic pull towards the ceramic bunnies pushing wheelbarrows full of brightly colored eggs too strong to resist. My garage is full of boxes overflowing with plastic grass, ducks wearing frilly hats, and fancy baskets that are all headed to Goodwill. So when I pulled out this vintage Easter egg ornament kit, she couldn’t wait to help me make it!

We excitedly tore open the package and Little Betty oohhed and aaahhed over all the frilly Eastery goodness. Purple trims, pastel colored flowers, miniature ducks – my girl was in heaven!

After a short time gluing and pinning to our little hearts’ content, we had this!

I know Easter stuff isn’t usually my thing, but I totally love this! It’s so ridiculous – I would definitely pick this up at an estate sale or thrift store. The ducks are so jolly! And they’re under a parasol! I have no idea what is really going on with this thing – is it supposed to be a baby ducky carriage? An amphibious egg car? Who knows. And who cares? I love it.

Oh, that is just too cute! I am going to have to keep my eyes open for those kits, I am betting that Ella would love to help with those as well.

So cute. I’d call it “The Eggmobile” :) I love Easter crafting and decorating, too. I’ll have to look for one of these.
