Won’t You Be My Neighbor – Minty Freshness in Scottsdale, AZ

By RetroRuth

This week we travel to Scottsdale, AZ for a lovely pastel time capsule which was sent to me by Sara in AZ. Thanks, Sara!

This house is located in the Arcadia area of Scottsdale, was built in 1968 and is being sold by the Long Realty Company. The house is approximately 3,000 square feet, has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and the asking price is $799,000.

This house is also the complete opposite of our house from the previous week. Where previously we had dark woods and floors, this week we have pastel wallpapers and minty green carpeting!

So, what do you think, guys? I think with a few tweaks this would be a really fun mid-century house. Ripping the carpeting out of the bathrooms would be a huge improvement alone. I wonder if the original tile is still there?

Carpeting in the bathroom would have to go. Otherwise, it’s lovely.

That kitchen made me swoon! Taking the carpet out of the bathroom was my first thought too! I don’t understand why people ever thought that was a great idea.

That’s it, I’m moving to AZ! The kitchen alone is worth moving for! Yes, the carpet has to go, but…small potatoes. 😉 Great find, Sara!

I don’t know who thought that bathroom carpeting was a good idea, LOL! So muc potential there though, for sure.
