Won’t You Be My Neighbor – Brick Rambler in Houston, TX

By RetroRuth

Unfortunately for all of you mid-century house hunters in Houston, TX, this pretty home has already been sold. However, that doesn’t mean that we still can’t take a peek at all the time capsule details in this place! (Warning! Colored bathrooms ahead!)

Outside

This home has four bedrooms, 2 and a half baths and is approximately 2800 square feet. It was listed for $219,000. From the listing:

Poised on a 18,400 sf corner lot, this 4 br 1-owner roman brick rambler by prominent architect bill hoff benefits from recent structural improvements & cosmetic freshening, but suffers no bad remuddling that would diminish its spectacular mad-men era original swank style. Cool vintage-tile baths. Double door entry w/gorgeous flagstone flooring, hardwood floors in brs & living areas, huge formals w/leaded glass windows, den w/pegged hardwoods, cove lighting & stunning wrap-around flagstone front porch.

I know this isn’t the most spectacular home that we’ve ever featured, but I really love this one! Other than a few touch-ups in the bathrooms, the whole place looks like you could just move-in right in with your mid-century furniture. What do you guys think?
