Vintage Sewing eBay Roundup!

by Andrea

As I am always cruising eBay for vintage sewing related items, I’ve got a few interesting ones to share with you today!

First up, we have this Vintage 1930s Paris Sewing Catalogue

I love, love, love 1930s fashion – so elegant.  This magazine could have me dreaming of things to sew for days!

Next up, a Victoria child's sewing machine:

Is this machine not absolutely adorable?!  I love the teal colour.  Looks to be in fantastic shape, too.  Reminds me of my 1950 Singer, but even cuter!

Next, a vintage Wil-Hold thread and bobbin storage caddy:

It always seems that I can never find the matching bobbin for a spool of thread, even though I am sure I’ve spun one previously.  Would be fantastic to keep them all together in one storage case!

Next up, a super adorable vintage sewing box:

This might be one of the cutest vintage souvenirs I have ever seen!  This little sewing box is adorable, and something I am going to keep an eye out for – I am betting they were fairly common souvenier items back in the day!

Finally, a gorgeous pink super deluxe Monarch sewing machine!

Oh my goodness, I am absolutely drooling over this machine.  Reminds me a lot of the pink and purple vintage Brother machine I passed up at a flea market – and have kicked myself over ever since!  This machine is absolutely gorgeous, and I am betting it would be an absolute workhorse, too!

Have a great weekend, everyone, and happy sewing!

I love the two sewing machines. I would use that child’s one for myself!

We had an avocado green thread and bobbin caddy very much like that one, but ours was a double decker!

Ooh, a double decker! That would be awesome, Charlotte, I am envious!
