I picked up a Vogue pattern a few years ago (for a quarter!) at a yard sale, for a fabulous 50’s jacket. Loved the illustration so much I framed it. Maybe one of these days I’ll figure out how to size up (and up…) the pattern, but meanwhile I’ll just enjoy the picture!

OOoh, nice score, Queen of Fifty Cents! The artwork on these 50s Vogue patterns is definitely frame worthy, for sure. Grading stuff up (and up)isn’t as scary as it first seems – maybe I will have to do a post on resources on grading, as there’s a tonne of resources out there on it 🙂

OK Sara, I will definitely have to put a pattern grading post in the works! I really love that pattern as well, especially the slippers!

It would be nice, too, to learn about dealing with sizing system changes over the years.

I can definitely work some sizing info in there too, for sure. Good idea Janet, thanks!
