The Antique Warehouse In Saginaw – A Quick Trip!

By RetroRuth

I recently took a quick trip to The Antique Warehouse in Saginaw with some friends of mine. I really, really love that antique mall. It is literally PACKED with great stuff at some really, really great prices. They also have an adorable lunch counter where they serve daily specials for lunch, a huge gift shop and bookstore AND to top it all off they have a shop that restores vintage lighting! Needless to say, it is pretty easy to spend a whole morning in there.

I looked at a TON of stuff, and here are some fun things I saw that I didn’t end up buying:

Ransburg canisters! These were in really good shape and were a major temptation.

One of the friends I went shopping with, posed in the most MCM of the booths in the mall.

A pretty pristine Tretchikoff print. It was SO hard to walk away from this one.

Some adorable vintage Halloween characters.

Ring-ring!

Ugh, this photo turned out so blurry, but this Snow White playset was seriously adorable.

Two HUGE lamps! This things were seriously enormous and very pretty.

Just a random shelf packed with goodies. I swear there was one of these around every corner.

Pyrex! The orange bowls were really pretty.

Check out this handsome guy! I would have bought him, but we couldn’t figure out what price was on the tag. Guesses ranged from $5 to $25. I realized that I didn’t want him bad enough to buy him if I wasn’t motivated to ask a vendor to tell me how much he actually was, so I just took a picture and moved on.

Need an unused greeting card??? They had TONS!

These were so cool, and I really wished I could have justified buying one. The basters themselves were Pyrex, but even though they were MIB the rubber grips had started to deteriorate. I suppose I could have bought them just to display, but like I don’t have enough of that kind of stuff hanging around already!

Another item I couldn’t justify buying. This basket and candlestick set was awesome, but gold! The whole kitchen is blue, gray and chrome, and I don’t have a dining room, so I had to pass. Sniff.

How about you guys? Do any thrifting or antiquing this weekend? Find any goodies??
