Today we’re taking a look at some of the Christmas ideas from 1964 – and there’s definitely some interesting ones! Let’s have a look!

This nativity scene definitely gets points for creativity with house plants! I like how tropical it makes the whole scene look.

I always kinda wonder what to do with doilies – this is a really cute idea!

The pink popcorn tree on the right looks super cute and tasty! The wreath on the left could be a good way to use up any crabapples you might still have.

I am not sure what I like more about this scene – the cool “tree” made from arranging plants or the sweet wood panelling in the background!

Those of you who like to knit or crochet, here’s a cute holiday use for your leftover yarn!

I love the Christmas banners on the left, they are so mid-mod! I gotta admit though, I find the Santa piñata on the right a little odd – something about hitting Santa to make him release candy seems a little odd to me!

Any of you have similar holiday decor?

Santa piñata looks like something out of a horrible nightmare.

Not to mention splinters of ornament glass whacking Santa. But, still love those old craft ideas.

LOL, I didn’t think of that! Nothing like a little glass in with your candy, eh? I do find that the old craft ideas are definitely creative, if nothing else!
