Vintage Crafting eBay Roundup – Christmas Edition – Part Two

by Andrea

We’ve got the holiday fever this week at NPR, so I’ve got some very interesting crafting finds from eBay – let’s have a look!

First up, this Vintage 1973 Macrame Pattern Book,"Twas the Knot Before Christmas"

OK, I gotta admit that this one caught my eye cause of the title – very punny!  However, if you like macrame, this looks to have all sorts of holiday macrame ideas in it!

Next, this 1968 vintage pattern booklet TIN CAN DECORATION

I gotta admit, I am tempted to add this one to my collection of unusual vintage non-fiction books.  Who knew you could make such holiday crafts out of tin cans?  This is really DIY recycling to the max!

Then, we have this June Zimonick IRIDESCENT AMETHYST Christmas Beading Ornament UNOPEN Kit

Want to make your own awesome vintage ornament?  This might be the one for you!  There are quite a few other June Zimonick kits on eBay as well, definitely check it out.

And finally, we have this Christmas Reindeer Hat Knitting Pattern Vintage Retro

These hats are just too freaking cute.  I love the top and, and I think my hubby would wear the heck out of the one with the reindeer.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

If I wasn’t the world’s slowest knitter, I would totally be buying the hat patterns!
