Vintage Crafting eBay Roundup – Purse Kit Edition

By Andrea

Sara’s post yesterday about her awesome Enid Collins purse score got me browsing the great vintage purse kits that used to be available – let’s have a look!

First up, this RARE VINTAGE 1972 RATTAN HANDLES HOLLY HOBBIE QUILTED HANDBAG CRAFT KIT NIP

Is there anything more 70′s than Hollie Hobbie? This purse kit definitely takes me back!

Next, we have this Vintage Enid Collins like Bag Kit- in Box NEW

This one is a great retro purse kit – it’s for the strawberry design shown. Super 60′s and too cute!

Then, we have this VINTAGE 1972 BY CAP INC. – SWINGIN PURSE KIT

20140102-202900.jpg

The name of this kit really sold me – it’s the Swingin’ Purse Kit! Be sure to click through to the auction and check out the other pictures – it looks to be that this kit makes a barn shaped purse!

Here, we have this Vintage Morris STITCH N' CARRY Art Needlepoint PURSE Craft Kit

20140102-203106.jpg

This one is kinda neat – it’s needlepoint, but the entire purse isn’t made out of it, which keeps it more purse like, I think. The design is another one that definitely says 60′s to me!

Finally, we have this 1972 ECOLOGY TOTE BAG NEEDLEOINT KIT – Columbia Minerva Vintage Purse Embroidery

This one is more of a tote than a purse, but the design is just too cute not to feature!

Have a great weekend, everybody!

I had forgotten all about Holly Hobbie until I saw your post.

I had friends who had totes similar that last photo. They always carried too much stuff in the tote and the handles would tear out of their grommets.
